Mountain Scape

Shaddy made us do a quick study of a photo in Concept class and this is my rendition....I tried to do it in a painterly style, I think I hit the mark....I wish it was a little more Alla Prima, but what can you do? He's a master!

On the Brink #3

This is the third ship in the series of ten. I wanted to use some future style buildings with a post-modern type sailboat...I dont really know how well it turned out, but I believe in the saying "Go with what you got." This painting still stems from the Stephen King book "Duma Key" but it is not a representation, its more a shout out to "Dead Calm, The Matrix and Event Horizon." I'll leave it for you to decide

I painted this for a friend who really enjoys fishing and I thought he might enjoy this painting as well....it is yet to be determined
